BluSky Trading rules by account size (25K to 300K): Launch, Propel and Orbit targets, drawdowns, consistency, Buffer Zone, Sim Funded payouts and prices

By TradeDesk HQ editorial desk · checked against the official sources below

The short answer

BluSky Trading sells three futures evaluation families. Launch (50K, 100K and 200K) and Propel (25K to 300K) run three phases: an evaluation, a Buffer Zone and a Sim Funded account. Orbit (50K, 100K, 150K and 200K) has two phases, an evaluation and a Sim Funded account. On the 50K Launch plan the profit target is $3,000, the drawdown is $2,000 trailing at end of day, there is no daily loss limit, consistency is 50% and the limit is 5 Mini / 50 Micros. The pricing widget shows $59 / 30 Days + $99 Launch fee due when you pass. Propel has no launch fee but a higher subscription, and Orbit is a one-time payment valid for 30 days. After the Buffer Zone, Sim Funded payouts need a $500 minimum, are capped at $2,500 in any rolling 7 days on a 50K, and are split 90% Trader / 10% BluSky. Every figure is copied from blusky.pro and BluSky's help center as read on 15 October 2026; where BluSky's own pages disagree we show both.

FAQ

What are BluSky's Launch evaluation rules for 50K, 100K and 200K accounts?

Profit targets are $3,000, $6,000 and $6,000, with drawdowns of $-2,000 Trailing (EOD), $-2,500 Trailing (EOD) and $-2,000 Static. There is no daily loss limit, consistency is 50%, and contract limits are 5 Mini / 50 Micros, 10 Mini / 100 Micros and 2 Mini / 20 Micros. After the evaluation comes a Buffer Zone with a 34% consistency rule before the Sim Funded account. (per help.blusky.pro, checked )

Does BluSky charge a launch fee, and when is it due?

Only Launch plans do: $99 on the 50K, $149 on the 100K and $179 on the 200K, due the moment you pass the evaluation. You have 14 days to pay it from the Billing section; if it is unpaid, the account expires and the passed evaluation is forfeited. Propel and Orbit plans have no launch fee. (per help.blusky.pro, checked )

How does BluSky's consistency rule work?

BluSky divides your largest single profitable day by the sum of your profitable days, leaving losing days out. In its example the profitable days add up to $3,400, so a $1,000 day is 29.4%, inside the 50% Launch evaluation rule. Being out of consistency does not fail the account; it is checked when you request a payout or try to pass a phase. (per help.blusky.pro, checked )

What does a BluSky Sim Funded account need before a payout?

The minimum payout request is $500, paid from the balance above your starting balance, and after each request you need at least $500 in new profit before the next one. Payouts are available daily, up to a rolling 7-day cap of $2,500 on a 50K, and requests submitted before 11am ET may be processed that same business day. (per help.blusky.pro, checked )

Does BluSky have a daily loss limit?

The Launch and Propel evaluation tables list None for the daily loss limit, and Orbit has no daily loss limit in either phase. The Sim Funded rules say the Risk Team may apply daily loss limits as an additional control, and Volumetrica users may set their own Daily Loss Limit. (per help.blusky.pro, checked )

Where these figures come from

All figures come from blusky.pro (the pricing widget on the home page) and BluSky's help center at help.blusky.pro, which blusky.pro links to, read in English on 15 October 2026. The plan articles for Launch (updated 1 October 2026), Propel (updated 11 September 2026) and Orbit (updated 12 August 2026) are the main sources, with the Sim Funded Accounts Rules article (effective October 1, 2026, updated 8 October 2026) for payouts. BluSky's evaluation tables print drawdowns with a leading minus ($-2,000 Trailing (EOD) on the 50K); its Propel Buffer Zone table prints the same 50K figure as $2,000 Trailing (EOD), and the Evaluation Rules article describes the 50K as trailing by $2000, so we treat the minus as BluSky's way of writing a loss limit, not a different figure. Older help articles call the Buffer Zone BluLive/Buffer, and the Evaluation Rules article calls Propel plans Propel Premium and Static Evaluations. Instant Funding (Direct to Funded and Instant Sim Funded) and the Stocks plans are not covered. Where two BluSky pages give different figures for the same thing we say so below rather than pick one.

Launch: evaluation, Buffer Zone and Sim Funded

Launch plans are billed every 30 days while you are in the evaluation, and the subscription renews at the price you paid, discount included. The pricing widget shows $59 for the 50K, $69 for the 100K and $79 for the 200K per 30 Days. A one-off Launch fee falls due the moment you pass the evaluation: $99 on the 50K, $149 on the 100K and $179 on the 200K. You have 14 days to pay it from the Billing section; if it is not paid by the due date, the account expires immediately and the passed evaluation is lost. In the evaluation the 50K needs a $3,000 profit target with a $-2,000 Trailing (EOD) drawdown, the 100K $6,000 with $-2,500 Trailing (EOD), and the 200K $6,000 with a $-2,000 Static drawdown. There is no daily loss limit. Consistency is 50%, so your largest single day can be at most $1,500 on the 50K, and BluSky says the target cannot be reached in fewer than 2 profitable days. The Buffer Zone has a $3,000 profit target; 34% consistency on the 50K ($3,500 on the 100K and $3,000 on the 200K) with the same drawdown and no daily loss limit. If you fail it you reset the Buffer Zone on its own and your evaluation still stands; Buffer Zone resets are $250 each for the first three, then $300 for resets four to six and $350 for seven to nine. A Launch evaluation reset costs $49 on the 50K, $59 on the 100K and $69 on the 200K; a renewal on a failed account includes a free reset, applied within an hour of the payment clearing, and a reset never moves your renewal date. The subscription stops once you pass, and nothing is charged during the Buffer Zone or once you are Sim Funded.

Propel: no launch fee, six sizes

Propel runs the same three phases with no launch fee at any point; the subscription is higher instead. The pricing widget shows the 50K at $112 per 30 Days with $160 struck through and the label USE CODE: 30OFF; the other sizes are in the table. Evaluation targets run from $1,500 on the 25K to $20,000 on the 300K. The 25K, 50K and 100K use an end-of-day trailing drawdown, while the 150K, 200K and 300K use a static drawdown ($-1,000 Static, $-2,000 Static and $-5,000 Static). Consistency is 34% (21% on the 300K), so the target cannot be reached in fewer than 3 profitable days. There is no daily loss limit in the evaluation. A Propel evaluation reset is $79 on every size. Buffer Zone resets follow the same $250, $300, $350 ladder, and if your Buffer Zone had already passed into Sim Funded, a reset is $500. The Propel Sim Funded account starts at $1,500, $3,000, $3,500, $2,000, $3,000 and $3,500 from the 25K to the 300K.

Orbit: two phases, one-time payment

An Orbit plan is a one-time purchase, not a subscription: the evaluation is valid for 30 days from purchase, nothing renews, and a reset does not extend that window, so there is no free reset to wait for. The pricing widget shows $199 for the 50K, $299 for the 100K and $419 for the 150K and 200K, as a 1-time payment. There is no launch fee on any Orbit plan, and no daily loss limit in either phase. There is no consistency rule in the Orbit evaluation, which is why BluSky says it can be passed in a single day. The 50K needs $3,000 with a $-2,000 Trailing (EOD) drawdown and 5 Mini / 50 Micros; once funded the 50K limit drops to 2 Mini / 20 Micros. The Orbit Sim Funded account opens at the full account size ($50,000 on the 50K). Its drawdown of $2,000 on the 50K trails your closed daily profit and locks at the starting balance once your lifetime net profit matches it. Payouts unlock above $52,000 on the 50K, with a $500 payout minimum, a 7-day payout cap of $2,000 and a 40% consistency rule that resets after each processed payout. Orbit evaluation resets are $99, $109, $279 and $279.

How BluSky counts consistency

BluSky compares your largest single profitable day with the sum of your profitable days, leaving losing days out. Its example week: $1,000 on Monday, $900 on Tuesday, a $600 loss on Wednesday, then $900 on Thursday and $600 on Friday. The profitable days add up to $3,400, so the $1,000 day is 29.4% — inside the 50% Launch evaluation rule and the 34% Buffer Zone rule. Counting net profit instead ($2,800) would make it 35.7%. Being out of consistency does not fail your account: it is checked when you request a payout or try to pass a phase, and you fix it by trading on. The plan articles list no consistency figure for the Launch or Propel Sim Funded account; the older Evaluation Overview article says No Consistency.

Sim Funded payouts and the move to Live Brokerage

BluSky describes the Sim Funded account as still simulated, but the profits are real and you can withdraw them. There is no profit target. The Sim Funded Accounts Rules, effective October 1, 2026, set a minimum payout request of $500 in whole dollars, and after each request you must generate at least $500 in new profit through normal trading before the next one. Payouts can be requested daily, Monday to Friday, on any balance above your starting balance; requests made before 11am ET are processed the same trading day (the Sim Funded Accounts Rules say they may be processed anytime that same business day). Payout caps run on a rolling 7-day window: $1,500 on the 25K, $2,500 on the 50K, $3,000 on the 100K, $1,500 on the 150K Static, $2,500 on the 200K Static and $3,000 on the 300K Static. The buffer (your Sim Funded starting balance) does not count toward the $10,000 Brokerage threshold and is not withdrawable. All payouts are 90% Trader / 10% BluSky unless changed by a Risk Team Review. While Sim Funded you must stop trading for the day once you are $5,000 up and for the week once you are $10,000 up. $10,000 in total profit per account = Brokerage Review, and payouts count toward it. For new transitions since October 1, 2026, an approved trader can Go Live, with the Live Brokerage account starting at $0, a drawdown based on the qualifying account size and eligible Sim Funded profits placed in a Bonus Vault, or take a one-time buyout equal to 50% of the applicable drawdown ($1,000 on a 50K with a $2,000 drawdown). You can hold up to 3 Sim Funded Accounts and any number of evaluations.

Trading hours, news, contracts and commissions

The only way to fail an evaluation is to fall below the minimum balance. On the 50K it starts at 48K (trailing by $2000) and rises with your highest end-of-day balance: an end-of-day balance of $50,750 moves it to $48,750, and it does not move back down with losses. BluSky lists Trading news events at your own risk among things that don't fail your account, and using too many contracts does not fail you either, although BluSky may liquidate or restart an account that exploits it. BluSky recommends closing all trades before 4:45PM EST; its system auto-liquidates around 15 minutes before markets close, without a guarantee. Sim Funded contract limits are smaller than in the evaluation. The Buffer Zone article lists 5 minis / 50 micros for a Premium $50K (Propel 50K) Sim Funded account, while the Sim Funded Accounts Rules give initial limits of Micros: 15–30 and E-minis: 1–3 and a table of 3 minis (30 micros) at a $3,000 balance; BluSky adds that your actual contract limits are the limits displayed on your account. On Rithmic, Volumetrica and Tradesea evaluations, commissions are Minis: $2/side · Micros: $0.50/side. The Sim Funded rules also say the Risk Team may apply daily loss limits as an additional control, and Volumetrica users may set their own Daily Loss Limit.

Where BluSky's own pages differ

(a) Propel payout minimum: the Propel article lists a $250 payout minimum for every size, while the Sim Funded Accounts Rules effective October 1, 2026, the Sim Funded Payouts article and the pricing widget give $500. (b) Profit between payouts: the Payouts article says all you need is one meaningful profitable day between payout requests, while the Sim Funded Accounts Rules and the Sim Funded Payouts article require at least $500 in new profit. (c) Orbit payout timing: the Orbit article and the pricing widget say payouts every three trading days, while the Orbit V2 payouts article says you can request daily withdrawals starting at a minimum of $500. (d) Propel 25K contracts: the Propel article says 2 Mini / 20 Micros; the pricing widget says 4 Mini / 40 Micros. (e) Orbit structure: the older Evaluation Overview article (31 July 2026) lists an Orbit Buffer phase with 50% consistency and no 150K; the newer Orbit article has two phases and a 150K. (f) Payout caps: the Orbit caps ($2,000 on the 50K) are lower than the Launch and Propel caps ($2,500 on the 50K), so do not mix the two tables. The Sim Funded Payouts article also lists a minimum balance of $53,000 for a $50,000 account, on a different basis from the plan articles' $3,000 starting balance. (g) Promo scope: BluSky's X post of 6 October 2026 offered 30OFF on Orbit and Propel, but on 15 October 2026 the pricing widget showed USE CODE: 30OFF only on Propel plans.
