The short answer

E8 Markets sells two one-step futures challenges. E8 Signature (25K-150K) is the cheaper one, with no daily limit in the challenge and a soft Daily Pause once funded. E8 Zero (Starter or Max) has a 40% best-day rule only in the challenge and no consistency rule once funded, with daily payout requests up to a cap.

Key facts:

  • Signature 50K: $3,000 target, $2,000 EOD Dynamic drawdown, 4 contracts, $170 list.
  • Signature funded: $1,000 Daily Pause on the 50K (soft), 35% best day rule for payouts, 80% split.
  • Zero 50K: $3,000 target, $1,500 EOD Dynamic drawdown, 40% best-day rule in the challenge; $218 (Starter) or $328 (Max).
  • Zero funded: no consistency rule, payout requests every day, cap per payout $1,000 (50K Starter) or $3,000 (50K Max).

Watch out:

  • Zero's 50K drawdown is $1,500, not $2,000, and in the challenge it keeps trailing your end-of-day highs.
  • The 40% best-day rule means E8 Zero cannot be passed in fewer than 3 days, per E8.
  • Both products end after 4 payouts per account (accounts bought from 1 October 2026).
  • No overnight holding: Zero closes every position daily at 3:10 PM CT (4:10 PM ET) (E8 writes 15:10 CT).

Where these figures come from

Rules are copied from E8's futures help center (helpfutures.e8markets.com): the E8 Signature and E8 Zero (Starter and Max) articles, both updated on 15 October 2026, and the product overview that compares them. Prices are the list prices in the plan data that the E8 Futures site (e8futures.com) loads into its account configurator, read on 20 October 2026. One mismatch: for the 150K E8 Signature, the help article gives $4,000 EOD for Futures accounts bought after 1 October 2026, while the configurator data lists 2.66% (about $3,990). E8 also sells forex and crypto challenges on other sites; this guide covers only the futures products.

E8 Signature: 6% target, EOD drawdown, Daily Pause once funded

E8 Signature is a one-step challenge in 25K, 50K, 100K and 150K. The target is 6% ($3,000 on the 50K) and the EOD Dynamic drawdown is $2,000 on the 50K. It moves up only with your highest end-of-day balance and locks at the starting balance. The challenge has no daily limit, no time limit (place and close at least one trade every 60 days), and the card says you can pass in as little as 1 day. Once funded, a 2% Daily Pause applies ($1,000 on the 50K): trading stops until the next day, but the account is not breached. Maximum size is 4 contracts on the 50K. News trading is allowed on both stages, and positions cannot be held overnight.

What this means for you: 50K Signature: $3,000 target, $2,000 EOD drawdown, no daily limit until funded, then a $1,000 soft Daily Pause.

E8 Zero: 40% best-day rule in the challenge, no consistency once funded

E8 Zero is futures-only and comes as Zero Starter (25K-150K) or Zero Max (25K, 50K, 100K, 200K). E8 says both have identical rules; Max costs more and has bigger payout caps. The 50K needs $3,000 with a $1,500 EOD Dynamic drawdown. In the challenge, no single day may exceed 40% of the profit target, so E8 says 3 days is the fastest pass. In the challenge the drawdown keeps trailing your end-of-day highs and does not lock. Once funded there is no consistency rule and no minimum profitable days, and you can request a payout every day. E8 closes all open positions every day at 3:10 PM CT (4:10 PM ET) (E8 writes 15:10 CT).

What this means for you: 50K Zero: $3,000 target, $1,500 EOD drawdown, 40% best-day rule in the challenge only.

Payouts: 80% on Signature, daily requests with caps on Zero

E8 Signature pays 80% after a 35% best day rule, 5 profitable days between payouts (not before the first; a profitable day closes 0.3% or more, $150 on the 50K) and a buffer equal to the EOD drawdown ($2,000 on the 50K). E8 Zero pays 80% or 100%, with a cap per payout: $1,000 on the 50K Starter and $3,000 on the 50K Max. Minimum payout is $100. Both stop at 4 payouts per account for accounts bought from 1 October 2026; then the account closes and you move on to a free challenge of the same size.

What this means for you: Signature pays 80% with a 35% best day rule; Zero allows daily requests up to a cap; both stop at 4 payouts.
