The5ers Futures rules by account size (25K and 50K): Day Trade and Swing targets, 4% EOD loss limit, 40% consistency, payouts, scaling and prices

By TradeDesk HQ editorial desk · checked against the official sources below

The short answer

The5ers Futures sells two futures evaluations, Day Trade and Swing, in 25K and 50K sizes on its product tables, each leading to a funded Pro Stage. On the 50K Day Trade evaluation the profit target is 6% (The5ers' own example puts it at $3,000), the Max Loss Limit is 4% EOD, consistency is 40% per position and the limit is 4 Mini, 40 Micro; no daily loss limit is listed. The 50K Day Trade costs $100 one-time, with no activation fee and no monthly fees, and the fee is refunded on 3rd payout. There is no time limit and no ‘minimum profitable days’ rule, and passing in one trading day is allowed. In the Pro Stage the split is an 80/20 profit split, and it stays 80/20 on all future payouts; a payout needs 4% profit or more, calculated from your initial account balance, and an account at least 14 days old, and on the 50K each payout is capped at 3% of your initial balance. Every figure is copied from the5ers.com as read on 15 October 2026; where The5ers' own pages disagree we show both.

FAQ

What are The5ers Futures 50K rules?

The 50K evaluation has a 6% profit target, which The5ers' consistency article puts at $3,000, a Max Loss Limit of 4% EOD, a 40% consistency rule and a limit of 4 Mini, 40 Micro. The Pro Stage keeps the 4% loss limit, consistency and size, with a 4% profit target. The 50K Day Trade costs $100 one-time and the 50K Swing $120. (per the5ers.com, checked )

Does The5ers Futures have a daily loss limit?

No daily loss limit is listed on the futures product tables or in the Futures FAQs. The only loss limit is the 4% maximum drawdown, calculated from your highest midnight balance or equity; after a payout it resets to 4% below your new balance. (per the5ers.com, checked )

How does the 40% consistency rule work at The5ers Futures?

One trade cannot represent more than 40% of total profits. On a 50K with a $3,000 target, a $1,600 trade means total profits must reach $4,000 before it is compliant. Breaching it does not fail the account; it only means you are not eligible for a payout or scale-up yet. (per the5ers.com, checked )

When can you request a payout from The5ers Futures?

The account must be a funded futures account with 4% profit or more, calculated from your initial account balance, and be at least 14 days old. Payouts are biweekly, the split is 80/20, and on 50K to 150K accounts each payout is capped at 3% of your initial balance ($1,250 on a 25K). (per the5ers.com, checked )

Can you hold positions overnight with The5ers Futures?

Only on Swing accounts, up to 1 mini contract or 10 micro contracts; bigger positions must close at least 10 minutes before market close. Day Trade accounts cannot hold overnight, and neither program allows weekend holding. (per the5ers.com, checked )

Where these figures come from

All figures come from the5ers.com: the product tables on the futures page (the5ers.com/futures/), the futures tab of the Summer Plan page, and the Futures FAQs help articles, read in English on 15 October 2026. The product tables show Evaluation Phase and Pro Stage columns for $25K and $50K accounts in two programs, Day Trade and Swing. Prices are the one-time evaluation fees printed on those tables. Where the product page and a help article word the same rule differently, we quote both, and the list near the end collects every place the pages disagree.

Day Trade vs Swing

The two programs share the same targets, loss limit, consistency rule and contract sizes. The difference is holding time. Day Trade: overnight holding is not allowed, and all positions must be closed at least 10 minutes before market close. Swing: you can hold 1 mini contract or 10 micro contracts overnight, and bigger positions must close at least 10 minutes before market close. Neither program allows weekend holding, and missing these requirements can result in account termination. On the futures page the Day Trade 25K costs $59 and the 50K $100; the Swing 25K costs $69 and the 50K $120, under the label Summer Plan Price. Both programs say Activation fee (Upon Passing) None and Refunded on 3rd payout.

Max Loss Limit: 4% EOD

Both programs and both stages list a Max Loss Limit of 4% with Drawdown Type EOD. The help article says the maximum drawdown is 4%, calculated from your highest midnight balance or equity, not the account's initial balance. Its example starts at $50,000, ends day 1 at a $50,200 midnight balance and puts the limit at $48,200; a $100 loss on day 2 leaves the limit where it was. After a payout, the drawdown limit resets to 4% below your new balance (after the withdrawal). The5ers' example: an account that grows to $55,000 has a limit of $52,800, and after a $1,500 withdrawal leaves $53,500 the new limit is $51,360. The futures pages do not say whether or where the limit stops moving. No daily loss limit is listed for the futures programs: none listed on the product table or in the futures faqs. The 3% daily loss limit on the Summer Plan page belongs to The5ers' CFD 1-Step and 2-Step plans, not to futures.

Consistency: 40%

The product tables call it Consistency Rule – Per Position, 40% in both stages, so the 50K evaluation shows 40% per position. The general rules article says one trade cannot represent more than 40% of total profits, and the What Is the Consistency Rule article gives a 50K example: the evaluation profit target is $3,000, and if one trade makes $1,600 you need total profits of $4,000 ($1,600 ÷ 0.40) before that trade is compliant. The rule applies on funded accounts as well. Breaching it does not fail the account. In The5ers' words, it simply means you are not eligible for a payout or scale-up yet, and you keep trading until the best trade or day is back within 40%. You can pass the evaluation in one trading day, but the 40% rule still applies. Other articles describe the measure as your best trading day and differ on how losses count; see the list of differences below.

Pro Stage payouts and the fee refund

To request a payout the account must be a funded futures account, have reached 4% profit or more, calculated from your initial account balance, and be at least 14 days old. A separate withdrawal-limits article puts it as a minimum withdrawal of 4% of your account balance and 1 payout request per 14 calendar days. Payouts run on a biweekly (14-day period) basis, and the payout cycle resets every time a new account is scaled. Each payout is capped: the 25K at $1,250 across all payouts, and 50K to 150K accounts at 3% of your initial balance. Fees: 3.5% commission on Rise, cryptocurrency and bank transfer payouts; no commission on Hub Credits, which can only be used toward programs and cannot be withdrawn. The split is an 80/20 profit split, and it stays 80/20 on all future payouts. At your third payout The5ers refunds the full evaluation fee you paid, added to your equity, on both programs and every size; its example is a 50K Day Trade bought for $100. Evaluation profits do not carry over: the funded account starts at the program's starting balance.

Scaling plan

Once funded, the account scales at every 10% profit milestone: balance +5%, +1 mini and +10 micro contracts. You close all positions, the account is reviewed by the Risk Department, and a new scaled-up account is issued. The summer page table lists the steps: a 25K scales at $2,500 to $26,250 and 3 mini / 30 micros, a 50K at $5,000 to $52,500 and 5 minis / 50 micros. The futures page says the account can scale up to $500K.

100K and 150K accounts

The futures page product tables sell only $25K and $50K. Larger sizes appear only in help text and on the Summer Plan page, without a published price, dollar target or dollar loss limit. What is printed: contract limits of 8 minis and 80 micros on a $100K and 12 minis and 120 micros on a $150K; the payout cap of 3% of your initial balance for 50K to 150K accounts; an account limit of 2 for 100k and 1 for 150k (Swing and Day Trade); and a summer scaling table where a $100,000 scales at $10,000 to $105,000 and 9 minis / 90 micros, and a $150,000 at $15,000 to $157,500 and 13 minis / 130 micros. The Summer Plan FAQ calls 100K and 150K two new account tiers for Swing.

Prices, the Summer Plan and refunds

The5ers Futures charges a one-time upfront fee and no monthly subscription on either program, and no activation fee after passing. The Swing prices ($69 and $120) sit under a Summer Plan Price label on 15 October 2026. Accounts bought during the Summer Plan keep running exactly as normal after the promotion ends. Swing accounts also get Summer Boost Rewards in Hub Credits: $15 at the Funded Stage, $20, $25 and $35 at the 1st, 2nd and 4th payouts, and a full account refund plus $30 at the 3rd payout. Refunds: within 5 days of purchase and with no transactions made, a refund is available; after 5 days refunds are issued only in Hub Credits. The site-wide banner offering $100K for $149 is a CFD Summer Plan offer, not a futures price. No firm-published futures promo code was found in this check.

Hours, platform and other rules

The futures market opens 5:00 PM CT Sunday and closes 4:00 PM CT Friday, with a daily maintenance break from 4:00 to 5:00 PM CT. News trading is allowed. High-frequency trading, algorithmic trading and hedging are not permitted, and the general rules article names arbitrage and high-frequency trades lasting only a few seconds or less. There is no time limit to complete the evaluation, but you must place at least one trade every 14 calendar days or the account is terminated for inactivity. You can hold up to 5 accounts per size for 25K and 50K, copy trading is permitted only between your own 25K and 50K accounts with a total size of up to $75,000, and BlackArrow is currently the only trading platform supported (its separate demo account shows a $1,000,000 balance; The5ers account numbers start with 12). Market data is included at no extra cost. Commissions are $5.00 on standard contracts and $2.50 on micros.

Where The5ers' own pages differ

(a) Close-out time: the futures and Summer Plan pages say all positions must be closed by 4:50 PM ET (10 minutes before market close); the market hours article says 4:50 PM CT, although the same article says the market closes at 4:00 PM CT; the overnight holding and programs articles say 4:50 PM CET. All of them agree on at least 10 minutes before market close. (b) Account sizes: the product tables sell only 25K and 50K, while the contract limits and payout caps articles, the futures page FAQ on account limits and the Summer Plan page mention 100K and 150K. The Summer Plan FAQ calls them Swing tiers, while the futures page FAQ says 100k accounts (Swing and Day Trade) are limited to 2 accounts and 150k accounts to 1. (c) Consistency basis: the product table says per position and the general rules article says one trade, while the best-day articles measure your best trading day. The how-calculated article says your best trade must be less than 40%, the best-day articles say 40% or less. One article counts only accumulated profitable trades (losers are not deducted), another says the rule uses total gross P&L, your present P&L. One older Futures FAQs article works its example with a 50% rule. (d) Drawdown example: the maximum drawdown article says the limit is calculated from your highest midnight balance, then puts the limit at $48,200 after a $50,200 midnight balance and calls that 4% below that balance, which it is not; the payout example puts the limit at $52,800 at $55,000. (e) Scaling example: the scaling article lists $50,000 + $2,500 + 80% of $5,000 ($4,000) and then a new account balance of $52,500; the futures page says the new balance is $52,500 plus your share of profits after the 80/20 split. (f) Account limits: the accounts article covers only 25K and 50K (5 each); the futures page FAQ adds 100k (2) and 150k (1). (g) Commissions: the commissions table is headed Round Turn Commission, while its summary says $5.00 and $2.50 per side. (h) Summer Plan: one FAQ calls the Futures Summer Plan a limited-time offer running through the end of summer, another says it introduces permanent price drops on Swing accounts with only the reward ladder limited-time; the futures page still shows the Swing prices under Summer Plan Price on 15 October 2026. (i) Payout threshold: the product table says Pro Stage Profit Target 4%, the payout article says 4% profit calculated from your initial account balance, and the withdrawal-limits article says a minimum withdrawal of 4% of your account balance.
