15 of the 17 futures prop firms we track use an end-of-day (EOD) drawdown on the 50K evaluation. The other 2: Bulenox and TradeDay.Same $50K account size for every firm, so the rules line up.
- With an end-of-day (EOD) drawdown, your max-loss level only moves up from your balance at the end of the day.
- With an intraday trailing drawdown, the level follows your highest balance during the day, open profit included.
- EOD does not always mean you can only fail at the close. Some firms close you out the moment you touch the level. Read each firm's wording.
