Paid links: we may earn a commission. How we make money
Why 50K, and which plan we copied
Comparing one account size keeps the rules like-for-like. We use each firm's 50K plan because every firm we have sourced rules for sells one. Many firms sell more than one 50K variant, so the plan name under each firm in the table says which one we copied, and other variants and sizes have different rules.

Get 90% off with SAVENOWMatches are listed cheapest first by cost to get funded. Big numbers on the cards still count all 26 firms. A firm drops out of a filter when that figure is "not in our data". Payout days are counted the way each firm counts them. The page link updates as you tap, so you can share this view.
Compare firms head-to-head
Pick two, or add a third, and an account size. The best number on each rule gets a ✓. Or tap a popular pair.
Same plan as the cards: every rule at 50K; at 25K, 100K and 150K the four figures from each firm's size table. ✓ = better figure on that rule, not a rating of the firm: pick the rules that matter for how you trade. No ✓ when a figure is "not in our data", all figures are equal, or they are not like-for-like. Cost = evaluation price plus the fee due when you pass, if you pass in month one, before promo codes.

Fewest trading days each firm lets you pass in. Type your average winning day to see how many days the $3,000 target takes you. We have this rule for 24 of 26 firms.

cheapest way to a funded 50K (TradeDay)
Evaluation price plus the fee you pay when you pass, if you pass in month one. Before promo codes; for four firms whose own page shows the price with today's code, the cost with that code is under the figure. Coral = monthly: add a month for each extra month. Blue = one-time or per account. 26 of 26 firms have both figures in our data. Median of the 26: $167.50.

How to read the cards and the table
Every value is copied from the firm's official pages; where it is our summary of the page it reads like one. The cards put one number per firm on a common scale so the rules line up; the table keeps each firm's exact wording. In the table, values sit under the column header with the plan name under the firm and a number in brackets after each value, such as [1], that points to that firm's numbered official source listed under the table; the guide link under each firm name goes to our guide for that firm. Full rule labels are in the JSON/CSV downloads. The first columns are evaluation rules, while the profit split applies once you are funded. How the drawdown limit trails, whether it locks, and whether a breach is measured intraday or at end of day differ between firms, which our Topstep vs FTMO Futures: 50K drawdown, daily loss and consistency compared and Topstep Maximum Loss Limit explained (50K, 100K, 150K) explain. "Not in our dataset" or "not in our data" means we have not sourced that rule for the plan yet, not that the firm has no such rule.
Apex vs Topstep: where the 50K rules differ (6 rules)
Same rows as the table, quoted as each firm writes them.
- Max drawdown or loss limit (evaluation). Apex, Max Drawdown (EOD) (Evaluation): “$2,000”. Topstep, Maximum Loss Limit (Combine and XFA): “$2,000 trailing (locks at starting balance)”.
- Daily loss limit (evaluation). Apex, Daily Loss Limit (EOD Evaluation): “$1,000”. Topstep, Daily loss limit (Combine and XFA): “Optional; $1,000 fixed if added at checkout; not a rule violation”.
- Consistency (evaluation). Apex, Consistency (Evaluation): “Not Applied on the Evaluation”. Topstep, Consistency Target (Combine): “Best day at or below 55% of total profit; recommended less than $1,650”.
- Max size (evaluation). Apex, Max contracts (Evaluation): “6 standard contracts or 60 micro contracts”. Topstep, Max contracts at one time (Combine): “5 contracts or 50 micros”.
- Profit split (funded stage, as the firm words it). Apex, Profit split (PA): “100% payout split”. Topstep, Profit split (XFA funded account): “90/10, you keep 90%”.
- Evaluation price (evaluation). Apex, Evaluation price (50K EOD Trail, one-time, list): “$590 one-time”. Topstep, Monthly price (Combine): “$49/month (Standard path) or $95/month (No Activation Fee path)”.
